If you continue using ArtSong™ 6 after the evaluation period you are expected to register it. When you register ArtSong™, you will receive a unique license key (registration code), that turns your evaluation copy into a full registered version.

Within 24 hours of purchase you will receive an initial 'Temporary Key' that will fully unlock the program and provide complete access to any secured program features. After your check or credit card order has cleared a 'Permanent Key' key will be issued; this usually occurs within 2 weeks but may take up to 30 days or longer.

2) Locate the 'Hardware Fingerprint' for your installation.

ArtSong 6 FULL versus LITE differences: which version is right for you?

The difference between the Full and the Lite version is in the SCRIPTING support. The Full version of ArtSong 6 provides both Basic and Pascal user-scripting capabilites which can be used to edit, analysis, compose, etc. ArtSong 6 scripting is very powerful but only useful to individuals interested in and planning to write their own custom algorithms, editting functions, etc.

The Lite version does not provide any scripting and is offered for individuals that want the composition capabilities of ArtSong but do not intend (or wish) to write their own composition routines.

 

How to Find Hardware FingerPrint

The reminder message window, that appears each time the Trial Version of ArtSong is started, is shown below.

Click the 'Enter Key' button to open the following dialog window. NOTE: The 'Enter License Key' menu item in the Help menu will take you directly to the following dialog.

The Hardware Fingerprint can be found in the center of the Enter Key dialog window just above the text boxes (underlined above)

 

Entering License Key

The license key you receive after registration can be entered either from the reminder message window or by clicking on the 'Enter License Key' menu item located in the Main Screens Help menu; the later will take you directly to the Enter Key window.

If you are starting from the Reminder window; click the 'Enter Key' button to open the Enter Key window.

Enter your name and key exactly as they written on the registration info and click the OK button. You will receive a dialog confirming successful registration or any error message.
