Requirements

• Windows 95*, NT4.0, 98, ME, 2000, or XP. * Please see installation notes.
• 200 Mhz Pentium processor (recommend > 400 Mhz )
• 32 MB RAM or more (recommend >= 64 MB).
• 800 x 600 SVGA monitor (recommend 1024 x 768, 16-bit color),
• At least 32 MB free disk space for program storage; up to 200 MB may be required to run the installation program depending upon available program memory.
• MIDI soundcard or external MIDI device
• MS Internet Explorer v4 or above (for HTML Help System)
• Microsoft JET 4 DataBase Drivers Please see installation notes.
• Possible Internet connection to download/install the Windows Installer.

Download ArtSong™ 6

ArtSong™ 6 is available in two configurations: 1) a FULL version and 2) a LITE version. The LITE version is being offered primarily for those individuals not interesting in scripting.

Download the ArtSong Installation (ARTSONG.ZIP or ARTSONGLITE.ZIP) package into a new directory and and un-zip. After successful expansion run the SETUP.EXE program and follow the provided instructions.

Please use the software uninstall facility, located in the Windows Control Panel, to remove any previous ArtSong 6 installations prior to installing. YOU DO NOT NEED TO UNINSTALL ARTSONG 5 as ArtSong 6 installs to a different directory. (However, do not install ArtSong 6 over the top of ArtSong 5 - If you are not planning to use ArtSong 5 we recommend uninstalling it first)

ArtSong uses the Microsoft Installer (MSI) service to perform the installation.

On Windows 2000, XP, or later computers an installation maintenance mode is available by simply rerunning the installation. The maintenance dialog lets you add or remove features, repair the installation, or remove the product. Choosing "Modify" lets you install features that you did not previously install, or remove features that you no longer use. Choosing "Repair" causes the installer to search for and reinstall any files that are missing or damaged. "Remove" uninstalls the product.

ArtSong™ 6 evaluation package on CD-ROM

The CD contains the most current ArtSong 6 FULL and LITE versions, installation support files, and some extras. Either program can be registered online.
